FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

What lengths of mouldings are available?

Our mouldings vary in length from 7 to 10 feet. Note that mouldings are selected randomly for each order.

How much will shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated when we prepare your order according to the weight of your order. For example, an order of 50 pd would cost approximately $40 if its in the area (50km) (plus taxes). Someone will call you to confirm the freight charges before we ship your order.

Can I return unused products?

No. All sales are final.

Are mouldings always straight?

For various reasons, wood mouldings are not always straight, unlike MDF or other synthetic products. Since wood constantly expands and contracts, it is possible for some mouldings to be slightly curved. We unfortunately cannot offer any guarantees on this point.

How long do I have to return a defective product?

Whatever the reason for your return, you must send mouldings back within 5 business days of receiving them. Note that you will have to pay the shipping and handling fees.

What should I do if my mouldings were damaged during transportation?

Please contact our Customer Services within 48 hours to make a claim.

Will I always receive the exact number of linear feet I ordered?

As mouldings vary in length from 7 to 10 feet, it is possible that the total number of linear feet you receive will not correspond exactly to the total quantity you ordered. However, we can guarantee that what you receive will always be equal to or slightly greater than what you ordered.

If there is a mistake in my order, what should I do?

Please call Boiseries Algonquin Customer Service within 24 hours of receiving your order.

What should I do if I want to exchange one model for another, or for a model made of a different wood?

Please contact Boiseries Algonquin within 7 business days of receiving your order. Note that you will be charged for all shipping fees related to this exchange. A handling fee of 25% of the order will also be charged for all exchanges that are not the result of negligence on the part of Boiseries Algonquin.

The mouldings I received are not quite straight. Why is that?

Wood fibres are cut to produce mouldings, which sometimes leads to warping. Consequently, we cannot guarantee that our mouldings will be perfectly straight.
